Nice shot Kirk.
I feel like it may be a little narrow… I would just like to be able to see a little more on each side. Otherwise I think its a very nice shot.
Thanks Dylan ,
Yeah was using the 50mm lens and couldnt move back any further
The only other option would have been to take another row of shots but the shoting conditions werent the best kept getting fit with burst of water from the falls and had to keep cleaning the filters
Yeah good call mate. I like this shot but I guess thats the down fall to a prime lens on a body with a 1.6X crop factor.
Nice work Kirk. See you this afternoon for take 2. I may be a little late as I’m meeting as stack of fahion photographers up at Kings Park at 1pm.
Where abouts was this taken Kirk?
Hey Kirk, I think you should change your profile on redbubble, No one is going to believe you have only been taking photos for four months judging by the quality of the new images. When are you going run your first show us how course, I reckon fletch might even turn up.
Yet another burner shot. I like how the line of the waterfall lets your eyes zigzag through the frame. Nice work.
Yeah I know Dylan , but its not long now until the new 5D comes out
Thanks Jamie ,
Thanks Peter ,
Yeah will have to get around to updating that at some stage lol .
Nar i dont think i will be running any courses in the near future not that good yet but thaks
Did you get any good shots from this afternoon? I’m really stoked with some of mine.
Thanks luke ,
I liked the pattern as well
hey jamie Havent looked yet but going to shortly
I was a lot more successful tonight than yesterday morning.
The light was pretty damn nice tonight. Told the wife about our little waterfall crossing, typical was the response boys will be boys, I guess she’s right.
Very cool image Kirk, but I am pretty sure you will have some even nicer ones soon.
Neal,
I’ll put up a YouTube tomorrow of our little adventure. I thought it was funny when I went flying across the river and then straight into the reeds where my ass broke my fall. LOL.
Jamie Paterson
Great shot Kirk.
I know what you mean about the water here.
it’s amazing the bursts of wind that generate from the bottom of these falls, the mist is quite frustrating! I’ve tried to get a compostition of the top and bottom falls together, but all that does is create more frustration also. Basically impossible with a single exposure shot.
I very nearly had a fall in the creek here the other week also…damn rock moved on me haha
