Bluff Knoll
Sorry been a bit quite on the blogs for the last few weeks been pretty sick with the cold and busy at work .
Plus I have also had computer troubles , motherboard has gone on my current PC , Guess its time for a new machine then one then and have just the one in mind , should be able to stitch and processes images in no time (intel 3.86 GHZ cpu , NVIDIA 1792MB GeForce graphics card , 12 gigs of DDR3 ram to name a few parts
) .
Did manage to stitch and edit a shot tonight though on my laptop though . This shot was taken durring my visit to the Stirling Ranges this year . Was an 8 image stitch of Bluff Knoll at Sunrise . Really like the way the sunrise lights the mountain ranges hopefully head back out to the ranges to get some more photos soon .

Very nice, love the clarity of the image, looks really crisp.
Thanks Graham
It’s a magic spot isn’t it Kirk ! I like the shot and the light hitting those slopes. The processing works quite well too. Well done !
Thanks Tony yeah loved how the light came off the mountains just whished there was some more interesting sky when I was there
Very sexy, love it.
Thanks Thomas
Very cool Kirk, I remember this morning well. Love the light and shadows adds some really nice depth to the image …

looks insane that machine kirk, but i guess looks can be one thing, registry file errors messages, spamware and viruses are another
yeah of only microsft can get there sh*t together lol
Cool shot Kirk. I particularly like the composition and light. Reminds me a lot of Christians shot from last year.
thanks Luke yeah when I saw the RAW file it reminded me a lot of Christians shots except he had some amazing cloud cover my sky was all washed out but really liked the light coming across the ranges so though I would edit it up
Nice shot again Kirk.
I’m with Neal, get a Mac and never look back!!!
Thanks Merv , I agree they do have there advantages with operating system but are a bit limited with software etc and parts are way over priced for what they , for the same price you can build a PC that will run rings around a mac with processing power etc as long as windows works lol
mate I think if your shot and mine were combined it would become a super shot. I like it , why because it does lookl like mine. Still there aint many angle to get and this view is always going to look the same as someones. But I think I actually like it better than mine. Plus mine had some issues when I lightened the shadow. Some nasty noise!!
Thanks Christian ,
Yeah thats not a lot of different angles you can get on bluff knoll from the lookout car park . Just love the sky in yours hopefully head back this year and hopefully get some better skys
top stuff mate!
thanks mate
Looks really awesome, has the sensation of a beautiful morning with the sun creeping up and slowly (ever so slowly) higlighting the picture…
is awesome man, bloody brilliant.
Thanks Stakky
Killer photo, mate. Love that side light coming in!
Thanks Beau , yeah the light made this shot
