South West Coast Line

The South West Coast line has some amazing landscape , from rugged rocky waved crashed shores to peace full bays ( I think Perth got jibbed when it comes to coast line to photograph , when they settled Perth they were deffinatly were not thinking of use landscape photographers ) .  Could spend a whole year down South photographing ,  but for the short time I was down there I did make a good efferot to take as many photos as possible  .

This is the first image I have had a chance to look at since getting back to Perth , Was a 3 image stitch taken on the 5D MKii with the 24-70mm lens at 50mm . Will hopefully have more time to sort through some more images over the next few weeks .

While I was down there I did find some nice location I will be deffinatly revisiting some time this year , for now I still have to go through the rest of the images from the trip which should keep me busy hopefully till the end of the year

Nice stuff Kirk… with the 5D mark II a three image stitch still gives you a great sized panno.

Hi Kirk,

Great shot! I love it down on the South Coast, I managed to get there for work late last year but haven’t managed to get down there for ages to take some shots.

Nice POV Kirk. like the sun shinning on the boulders in the foreground. Really nice location. I was down the bottom getting eaten alive by mozzies and my sky blew out too much, I see yours is a better than mine in that regard. What would this area be like with more clouds, would love to revisit.

Looks good Kirk! That horizon though…proves there’s something up with the horizon down south 😀 Anyway, looks a bit curved to me I think.

Btw have seen your image on Channel 9 news now quite a bit, looks super good!

Blah, I went out on Satuday and the photographer at the club I was at had the 5d MkII and I was extremely jealous. Now you’ve sent that feeling sky high 🙂 Amazing shot, really nice composition, I love the colours you capture.
