Yosemite

11 09 2010

Finally found some time to edit up some more images from the US . This was an 8 image stitch at Yosemite , this place is amazing for photography would love to return here again during Winter . Would be freezing during that time of the year but I have seen some photographs of this place during winter by Peter Likk , Michael Frye and Ansel Adams and the colour tone and detail are amazing so the cold will be worth it .

Only wished that the shrub in the foreground was cut away .

Image better viewed large Deviant art new resize processes loses sharpness

Taken with the Canon 5D MKII , 24 -70mm F2.8 Lens and Lee Soft grad .6 filter

Very nice and colourful shot from this classic viewpoint. I dislike the foreground too, so I jumped onto the log and shot mine from that position. I see the river was still flowing with force!
